Beautiful Weather For The Asian-Pacific American Festival In Center City

By John McDevitt

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) ? There are several festivals going on in the city Saturday including the sixth annual Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration in Franklin Square Park.

Eleven-year-old Jessie and her 11-year-old friend Vivian made flowers out of tissue paper at a craft table. Jessie says there?s something for everyone at the festival.

?It shows people the culture of Asians; and what they do and their traditions and dances.?

Many enjoyed the talent performing on the stage especially the dragon dance.

There was a health fair there too where among other thing testing for Hepatitis B was going on.
